This is an intact double truck entrance with a loading dock garage. This Williamsburg industrial building boasts the original graphics from 1920s 1930s. For production people looking for divergent & distinctive separate spaces at the same four-story location we offer multiple film shoot locations- accessed with our freight elevator. The content of your project possibility can be more than shooting in one space. Just reach out to us with your production needs.
This industrial Warehouse boasts a 1940s stainless steel elevator. LED lighting is on a retractable pulley system which can be lifted flush with the ceiling or lowered depending on need. Entire front of building has a double truck curb cut facing southward directly onto a city park unobstructed. Industrial building is in the heart of East Williamsburg, a block and a half away from the g train, and the m & j train. On the same street Montrose Avenue as the L train stop.

RGB/bi-lights that can be remote-controlled, housed in reclaimed droplight frames.
1x Parabolic Softbox Remote-Control Overhead Bi-Light RBG Studio Light:
Remote-controlled softbox overhead light, included in the rental. It is fixed in place unless taken down before the shoot.
Natural Light
The garage door and metal door can be either closed or open, depending on the details of your production
The glass block window has both steel metal blinds and light blocking fabric options.
Electricity:
3 x 20 amp electrical walkway threshold guards to offset a trip hazard

This is a 100 yr old industrial building. The floors and ceilings are 2 ft thick concrete with 1 ft thick brick walls.
The Loading Dock is located on our first floor with access to the street just beyond the steel gate. Generally, our street is quite quiet, but on weekends there may be a bit of street noise. If your production is sound-sensitive, check out our Industrial Loft located on the third floor.

Our loading dock, ramps, and elevator are perfect for loading equipment and material. Nothing needs to be lifted, roll your equipment out of the vehicle straight into the freight elevator.

No alcohol allowed after 7:00 p.m.
Host is open to helping with any kind of props.
Anything that's going to be added or removed, even temporary, from the walls, ceiling, etc needs to have pre-approval.
Anything electrical requiring further than plugging into outlets needs to be pre-arranged with approval.
If you have a crew of more than 15 people or constant door activity, the host recommend adding a studio manager to your production to facilitate usage of the freight elevator, answering questions to crew members regarding space concerns etc.

The 300 sq. ft. soundproof room, suitable for interviews and audio recordings, has 10 ft. tin ceilings, south-facing windows with natural light and park views, and second-layer windows for improved acoustics.
